Everyone needs validation.

I am a Four on the Enneagram, a deeply feeling sensitive (HSP), empathic human, a firey Sagittarius who also goes by Durga in certain circles. They are all labels and identities excavated on this path of healing and discovery because I love being uniquely me. I’m being so Four right now, telling you this, and now I’m getting self-conscious. And I share most of it with you all in my weekly writings, meditations, podcasts, and courses for FREE.

Without this exploration and growth, I will wither away and start smoking cigarettes again. And it’s been almost 30 years since I quit. And I’m being dramatic.

Sometimes, I wish I was back in corporate, making a consistent paycheck because I think it would be easier. But then I think about it, and I know my authentic spirit will die. I feel nauseous now just thinking about it.

WHY do I do this?

I do it for YOU as much as I do it for myself. I believe in the power of connection, healing, mindfulness, self-expression, mental health wellness, and community. I believe there is enough room for everyone to have joy, freedom, and success in their lives. I believe in healing, that it’s not linear, that life happens FOR us not TO us and that we need each other.

I am on a path that’s about to explode, with my book in progress about being a mother of a young adult who suffered from a psychotic break at the age of 14 now living in recovery at 22. It’s not over because motherhood doesn’t end and he has his challenges, but my life is influenced by this daily.
